Largs Bay School Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) is a non-for-profit educational and care service for the children of Largs Bay School and the wider community. We believe that our service fosters and develops safe, secure, and meaningful relationships between children and their families by supporting their individual social, emotional, physical and behavioural needs.

Bookings and Cancellations

Bookings for Before and After School Care can be made by emailing oshc.largsbay966@schools.sa.edu.au, calling 8341 5350 or sending an SMS to 0401 121 073.  Casual bookings can be made on the day if we have spaces available to book, as we are legally required to keep within our mandated ratios.

Cancellations of bookings for care throughout the term must be made by emailing oshc.largsbay966@schoools.sa.edu.au  or sending a text to 0401 121 073.  All cancellations require three days’ notice prior to the session commencing. Cancellation of bookings with less than three days’ notice, or if a child is absent without notice, will incur the full fee. In the case of your child being unwell and a medical certificate can be provided, the fee will be waived.  For any unforeseen circumstances, it will be at the discretion of OSHC leadership.

If you require permanent care for the term or year please fill out the form provided and send directly to the OSHC email, oshc.largsbay966@schools.sa.edu.au or deliver form directly to the OSHC office. 

Payment Options

All OSHC invoices will be sent out on a weekly basis. The invoices will be sent through for the prior week’s bookings and fees. Up to date payment of fees and invoices are essential for children to be booked in and sustain their term bookings.

Vacation Care

Please send all booking forms directly to the email, oshc.largsbay966@schools.sa.edu.au or deliver directly to OSHC office. Booking forms can only be accepted if the child is enrolled in the service and if fees are up to date.

Online Bookings

Log In

  • The link to the childcare app is available on the LBS OSHC website and on your weekly invoices
  • Log in requires an email address and password.

The email address is the same email address that your weekly invoices are sent to. Your password is the pin-code which should be your mobile number. If this does not work please click “forgot password” and you will be sent a link via your registered email.

Using the App

  • Select Largs Bay School OSHC The home page will only display the children registered under your name
  • The bottom menu will display three options. Home, Bookings and Fees.

Home

  • The home page will show the children registered to your name.
  • You can select the child’s name to show the emergency contacts and collection authorities for your child.
  • You can also select your own name and information about your account such as CRN, contact numbers and sign in pin codes.

Booking

  • All bookings made for Before and After school care on the app are charged as casual bookings. Permanent booking formsare required at the beginning of each year and run till the end of the year. Any additional bookings to your permanent bookings are considered casual.
  • The bookings tab will show a calendar on the left of the screen. The dates in blue represent your current bookings and the dates in green represent bookings available.
  • To select a date simply click on the date and choose whether you would like a before or after school session and click accept and then confirm at the bottom of the screen.
  • Please note if you are booking for more than one child you will need to select accept and confirm on each child’s name.

Fees

  • The Fees tab will have two options displayed, Tax Invoices and Payments and Fees.
  • The Tax Invoice section will enable you to access and download your weekly tax invoices.
  • The Payment and Fees tab will show you any payments made by you and your Child Care Subsidy payments.
  • All payments are made via the QKR app.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations can be made via the Spike Online Booking App if they abide by our cancellation policy.
  • To cancel your bookings sign in and select the bookings tab on the bottom of the screen.
  • Your current bookings will appear blue on the calendar on the right hand side.
  • Select the date that you wish to cancel. It will show your ‘Current Bookings’ with the option to ‘Cancel’ next to the booking
  • Select the ‘Cancel’ button to cancel the selected booking. Ensure you select the correct sessions (BSC or ASC) when cancelling.
